Gurkha Garrison Radio
The Nepali language is on the airwaves nightly in two of the UK's largest garrisons. Each night a 30 minute round up of World News is broadcast at 8 pm at Catterick and Aldershot and uniquely for UK garrisons it is in FM quality.
Garrison FM's Managing Director, Mark Page, said "We are pleased that the unique free service we offer is so warmly received by Gurkha soldiers and their families. We are serving not only our English speaking military audience, but around 750 Nepali speakers too and the programming, which we instigated from day one at Garrison FM, is very popular. We serve the second biggest Nepali speaking audience in the UK"
